In and around Bellaria

Bellaria is in the province of Rimini, an area that has much to offer to lovers of culture, art and nature.

You get to Rimini by taking bus number 4, or by car. Once you get here is due to visit the historic centre: Rimini is Roman in origin and rich in testimonies of the past, such as the Arch of Augustus, Tiberius bridge, the surgeon's House and the City Museum.
A few miles from Bellaria is situated Santarcangelo di Romagna, a small jewel of a village which lies on top of a hill of tufa crossed by ancient caves, some of which can be visited even today. Here strolling through the old town is pleasant stop at a restaurant or an Inn that serves traditional menus accompanied by a sincere Sangiovese di Romagna, capable of delighting even the finest palate.
The entire Marecchia Valley is worth a visit, as it is dotted with ancient villages and breathtaking glimpses: San Leo, with its majestic fortress, with its charming Alexandria old town and cities, between Pennabilli in late May and early June, is home to one of the most important international festival of street performers.
About twenty kilometers north of Bellaria is there Cesenatico: its port channel leonardesco, the heart of the city, will surprise you. The port is today a symbol of this ancient village of sailors, hosts numerous vessels every morning at first light of dawn provide fresh seafood restaurants along the waterfront and in the mirror of water sheltered from winds, vintage boats floating section of the Maritime Museum. Cesenatico sa fascinate its visitors even during the winter months, when during the Christmas period becomes an open-air Nativity and its vintage boats come alive with lights and wooden statues.
